- You must be able to organise your own workload with regards to assessing patient needs, planning, implementation and evaluation of a programme of care which utilises all available resources, taking into consideration the lifestyle, gender and cultural background and ensure involvement with the patient, family, carers and significant others;

- Practice within the Legal & Ethical framework as established by National Legislation to ensure patient interests and well-being are met;

- Work within the National Health Service Legislation, Guidelines and Procedures. Responsible for maintaining patient records within agreed standards.

- Enhance the working environment through teamwork and mutual respect of others.

- Motivate and encourage self and others to achieve team and organisational goals.

- Contribute to and influence practice development within the clinical area.
Person Specification:
First level nurses are trained in general nursing
Minimum 12 months experience in general nursing
Must have access to a European passport as unfortunately no sponsorship available
Commit to at least 12 months
Eligible for Maltese nurse registration
